IntrepidIt’s that time of year again! October is here and it’s the month to buy delicious popcorn! The Glen Cove Pack 6 Cub Scouts are out and about, selling popcorn this month as a fundraiser for the scouts. This is the biggest fundraiser for the group and so far, they have sold many bags of popcorn by just standing in front of local businesses in Glen Cove and asking people to buy popcorn to help support the Pack. In the next few weeks we will be selling on Saturdays at Bank of America in Glen Cove and also the Bagel Cafe. Money earned from the popcorn sales help fund the cub scouts for many of their activities, which include outings, camping trips and a big sleepover that is planned on The Intrepid this December. If you happen to see our Pack while you are out shopping, come on over and help support your local cub scouts and buy a bag or a box of popcorn. The scouts are very appreciative and would like to thank all of the people who have stopped by and made a contribution to this worthwhile group! As always, it is not too late to join the scouts!! Please contact John Blazich @ 516-698-2521 if you are interested or just want more information.
