How much has second-term, Glen Cove City Councilman Efraim Spagnoletti donated to any political party or candidate required to report to New York State Board of Elections?  $465

“Friends of Reggie Spinello” and “Friends of Tony Gallo,” which are the two political committees that primarily funded Spagnoletti’s election to the council in 2013 and 2015, spent a combined $130,027.  Even first term Councilman Roderick Watson, who ran with Spagnoletti in 2015, donated more than the second termer.  Watson gave a total of $850 to Friends of Tony Gallo last year.

As Beacon founder Mike Bruschini stated, “In 2013 as a candidate on Spinello’s ticket, [Spagnoletti] wasn’t seen as a team player.  On Sept. 21, 2015, the councilman threw his teammate, Tony Gallo, under the bus on a notable council vote concerning bonds (this occurred after Spagnoletti secured a line on the Glen Cove Republican Party ticket, whereas Gallo did not in the 2015 Primary Day election).  With “friends” like Spagnoletti, save your money.
